The TSHD1500 hopper dredger has been designed for optimal manoeuvrability in ports or areas with busy traffic through twin azimuth thruster and bow thruster. Hence, the compact dredger has excellent access all corners of the harbour. From the wheelhouse the dredge master has an excellent view over the clean hopper and the dredging equipment. Sustainability is key in the hopper dredger design; for instance all dredging operations are ballast water free.
