Founded in 1977 as Cochran’s Marine, Walker Marine has been part of the Leech Lake community for nearly five decades. What began as a small, family-owned marina on the shores of beautiful Walker Bay grew into a trusted name for boaters across northern Minnesota. In 2004, the business joined the MarineMax family, gaining the resources and reach of a national brand — but the heart of the operation never left Walker.
As of 2014, Walker Marine is proudly back under local ownership, returned to the hands of its original founding family.
