The design team had lofty goals when tasked with reimagining the top-selling Masters 247. The redesign focused on opening up more cockpit space behind the leaning post, redesigning the console to accommodate d-tubing and incorporating a tempered glass windshield, along with other minor improvements. The results are a stunning bay boat that performs as well as it looks. This top-selling 24' bay boat is miles ahead of its time and ready for serious fishing. The deck features dual aquarium livewells, a large bow casting deck with lockable rod storage, plenty of comfortable seating for up to 10 people, best-in-class bilge access and much more. All of this is paired with a very capable hull designed for shallow water and a smooth ride. The Masters 247 now features the revolutionary Seakeeper Ride System in a first-of-its-kind built-in pocket design. This system uses actuators and stabilization technology to improve the ride quality in any condition, providing a smoother and more comfortable ride for all onboard. The Seakeeper Ride system is seamlessly integrated into the boat's transom design, making it virtually invisible. Bow Casting Deck

• The bow features a large deck with all recessed hardware and lids for a spacious casting deck. Can also be equipped with cushions for the perfect sunpad area.

Bow Anchor Locker

• Stow away your anchor when not in use inside this large compartment. It features a molded catch for the anchor to keep it from falling in and the cut out for your rope on the lid makes it easy to store your extra rope neatly inside the compartment.

Large Bow Fish Box

• The center piece for the bow is a large bow fish box. This large box will bring your big catch home or serve as your main cooler for the front of the boat when cruising.

Step Storage Box

• The step leading up to the bow doubles as a storage compartment. This is the perfect spot for extra small gear that you may need stowed away.

Freshwater Washdown w/ Tank

• Comes standard with a freshwater washdown and a 13-gallon tank. Perfect for rinsing off the deck, cleaning up after landing a fish or washing off at the sandbar. It’s a simple comfort that quickly becomes essential.

Lockable Bow Rod Storage

• The lockable bow storage safely stores your rods while you are away and includes space for up to 10 rods. The rods get inserted into plastic guide tubes that prevent the rods from banging around while underway and helps prevent tangling while inserting or removing rods.

Bow Storage

• Bow storage is plentiful on board this boat. Featuring two large lockable rod storage boxes for up to 10 rods, large fish box and over-sized anchor compartment. Plenty of cup holders and molded grab rails for safety.

• Comfortable console-front seat with backrest.

Trolling Motor Plug & Harness

• For ease of installation, we have pre-wired this model to accept a trolling motor. At the bow, there's an electrical connection inside the anchor hatch conveniently located for the optimal bow mounted trolling motor location. This plug's harness runs into the console where the additional batteries and charger will get eventually installed.

Bow Toe Rail

• There are many reasons and uses for a toe rail. But arguably the most practical is safety. The toe rail allows you to feel where the edge of the bow is without looking. Esthetically speaking, the toe rail accents the bow for a pleasing look.

Console Front Livewell

• Flip the bottom cushion of the console-front seat to reveal an insulated livewell. Conveniently located for those fishing up front and for those days you are not fishing, fill it with drinks or use it as storage.

Sportlink® Electronics Integration

• SportLink® is our factory-installed electronics integration system, designed to give you a seamless, turn-key experience at the helm. It includes Garmin displays, JL Audio sound, digital switching on all models with custom Graphics Interface on your displays and a full NMEA 2000 network, all pre-installed and connected for you. Every component is engineered to work together from the start, eliminating the need for aftermarket installs or guesswork down the line.

Console Design & Features

• The console of this boat is a highlight of its design, featuring a sleek and modern look that follows the Sportsman design language, as well as several innovative features that enhance both form and function. It boasts a designed-in d-tubing hard-top frame that is extruded from a single piece of aluminum. This design removes the frame legs from the deck, giving you more space around the console and a robust frame structure. Additionally, it yields more space inside the head. The starboard side of the console features the iconic Sportsman side window glass, which floods the interior space with light. The console is wrapped with a tempered glass enclosure that includes a manually actuated vent.

Integrated Tempered Glass Windshield w/ Manual Vent

• Made out of high-quality tempered glass, the integrated windshield protects the helm of excessive wind and rain while maintaining excellent air flow. The top section opens up manually to let in cool air. The glass is extremely easy to clean and will never fade, yellow or deteriorate.

Enclosed Head

• Inside the console, there is a built-in lockable storage area. This enclosed space can be used as a changing room or storage of bulky items. On the back wall, there's access to all of the connections to the electronics and fuses, very convenient for quick troubleshooting. This space can also be optionally fitted with a porta potti.

Large Horizontal Window

• When designing this space, it was extremely important to bring in plenty of sunlight. To achieve this, a large horizontal window on the starboard side was designed in. This flush glass design allows for the largest opening.

Dedicated Trolling Motor Battery Storage

• We have put the extra space inside of the console to good use by designing-in designated trolling motor battery storage. This allows you to have the 3 trolling motor batteries tucked away from the visible console floor.

Boat-in-a-Box 2.0 Rigging System

• Accessing the electrical components of the boat is a breeze thanks to the large access panel located behind the helm. Our 'boat-in-a-box 2.0' rigging system is a standout feature of this boat, providing a clean and easy-to-maintain electrical hub. The electronics are mounted on removable boards, making it easy to perform maintenance or make repairs without having to dismantle or remove any major components. This innovative system is designed to minimize maintenance requirements.

Dual Batteries w/ Switch

• The safety and reliability of having 2 batteries on board is integral. This boat is equipped with 2 batteries and a selector switch conveniently located inside the console.

SeaStar Tilt Helm w/ SS Wheel

• The SeaStar Helm offers over 40 degrees of tilt and locks into 5 different positions and is paired to a high quality stainless steel Sportsman-branded steering wheel with knob. The console layout has comfortable ergonomics for the perfect steering position whether standing up or sitting down.

Console Top Storage

• Over the top of the console, additional padded storage for small items like cell phones and USB ports.

Wireless Phone Chargers (2)

• This state of the art wireless charger features a 10W fast charging surface in a low profile flush-mounted pad. The top of the pad has an ultra grippy non-slip surface to keep your phone in place underway and has an IPX6 waterproof sealed unit. This is the world's first waterproof wireless charge system created specifically for the marine environment.

USB Plug In-Dash & 12V Receptacle

• To keep your devices charged and ready, the helm includes two dedicated USB charging ports that operate independently from other systems. A 12V receptacle is also included for any cigarette-lighter style accessories.

Compass

• Considered one of the Four Great Inventions, the compass remains the cornerstone of any navigation system despite our advanced digital displays. Regardless of condition, your compass provides real-time heading and when used in combination with your GPS data, it allows you to optimize fuel efficiency & improve safety. When it gets dark, there's a built-in light inside the compass for night use.

Console Footrest w/ Pads

• The console has molded in steps to offer a place to put your feet while the boat is underway. They are topped with custom pads with the Sportsman logo.

Helm Pod Storage Compartment

• Under the helm pod, you will find additional storage built into the step providing you ample storage at the helm.

Anti-Fatigue Helm Pad

• Feel all-day comfort with our custom anti-fatigue helm pads. You will notice a difference at the end of the day, your feet will thank you for it. Custom engraved with the Sportsman logo for that extra touch.

 

Fiberglass Hard-Top w/ Built-In Lighting

• One of the first things you’ll notice when you look at this model is the over-sized hard-top. This top has all of the amenities you would want built in while still maintaining an elegant and timeless design.

Matching Hard-Top Underside Color

• A popular trend is to have the underside of the hard-top matched to the hull color, this adds additional appeal and ties in the color theme of the boat sides by bringing additional color to the cockpit area.

Hard-Top D-tubing Frame Structure

• The 4-legged frame swoops seamlessly from the console up to the top and the design gives it immense structural stability. The class-first D-Tubing structure is not cut and welded as typically done, but rather it is bent and extruded out of a single piece of D-Tubing.

Hard-Top Molded-In Navigation Lights

• When the sun goes down, molded in navigation lights can be found at the front corners of the hard-top. This location keeps them out of the way and completely unobstructed.

Spreader Lights

• The spreader lights on the hard-top provide deck work lights for early morning or late-night trips.

Rocket Launchers

• To complete the top, we've added rocket launchers across the back, providing ample space for up to five fishing rods.

Kingfish Rod Holders

• These hard-top rod holders point straight off of the side of the boat and allows you to extend your spread out further than you could with the gunwale-mounted rod holders. The height also keeps them away from any rods in a deck rod holder.

Premium Dual Chair LP w/ Flip Up Bolsters

• Comfort and function meet when it comes to this deluxe leaning post. It is designed to accommodate two adults comfortably and features individually adjustable bolsters allowing you to operate your Sportsman standing up or in a seating position. Additional features include rod holders and cooler storage space with a strap.

Under Leaning Post Space

• The space under the leaning post allows you to fit a large cooler and strap it securely using the included velcro strap. For additional tackle storage, we offer the "Under Leaning Post Tackle Storage" option which adds additional plastic tackle trays and a storage bin.

Under Gunwale Folding Rod Racks

• Storage for 4 rods is possible with the under gunwale rod racks. Each can accommodate a full length rod and doubles as a great place to store a gaff or net. For your convenience the racks fold away when not in use.

Under Gunwale Reel Pads

• Helps prevent damage to reels while inside the under gunwale rod racks and prevents any scratching of the fiberglass in this tight space area.

Raw Water Washdown

• With its unlimited supply, it is the perfect companion for the freshwater washdown. This system pumps outside water to a water outlet where you can screw in a regular hose.

Flush Mount Gunwale Rod Holders

• This boat includes 4 high-quality Gemlux rod holders flush mounted on the gunwale. Outside of the obvious use of holding fishing rods, you may add any number of available 3rd party accessories designed to be mounted in a rod holder.

Cockpit Bolsters

• For extra added comfort when fishing, the cockpit bolster cushions provide a nice soft surface to push your knees and legs into when reaching into the water or fighting a fish.

Twin Aquarium 25-Gallon Livewells

• Talk about the "WOW" factor with this pair of aquarium 25-gallon livewells. The livewells are insulated and are sure to meet the needs when the time comes. They can also double as coolers for drinks and food. They can be operated together or separate with the pressure selector valve inside.

Starboard Pro-Air System

• Same size as the port side livewell, the starboard side also features a Pro-Air Bubbler System to ensure your livewell has an oxygen-rich source of air on demand.

Rear Fold Up Bench Seat

• Molded-in bench seating accommodate up to two adults comfortably. The inboard seating is safer for the little ones than traditional outboard jump seats and the bigger single center cushion, gives you superior access to the bilge.

Rear Total Access Hatch

• The rear Total Access Hatch gives you the ability to have large storage that's still incredibly easy to access. it's the perfect place for your life jackets, extra anchor, safety equipment, scuba gear and anything else you may need. When empty, it offers best-in-class access to your essential pumps and seacocks.

10" Jack Plate

• All-in-One 10" setback jack plate made of anodized aluminum for durability. It will provide you with higher speed, gains in fuel economy and the ability to run in shallow water. This plate is required for the transom design of this model.

Swim Platform w/ 3-Step Ladder

• Easily board your boat from the port side with the standard 3-step ladder. It stows away recessed into the swim platform when not in use and has grab rails on either side for ease of boarding.

Underwater Lights

• Built out of an anodized aluminum housing, these high quality LED underwater lights are a great feature for this model. The Lumitec underwater lights have a measured output of nearly 900 lumens, giving you plenty of blue glow behind your Sportsman. This boat comes equipped with 2 of them at the transom.

• We have two groups of colors, light and dark. A light color is included standard on this boat. You have the choice of one solid full hull color or a side and bottom color.

• When the sun goes down, the cockpit comes to life. The included lighting package is as beautiful as it is functional, a blue glow covers every inch of the cockpit for safety and aesthetics.

AlloChrome4200+™ Stainless Fasteners

• AlloChrome4200+™ is a revolutionary new stainless coating capable of lasting up to fifteen times longer than typical chrome coating. This means that independent testing shows that these fasteners can withstand over 4,200 hours of salt spray protection

Pull Up Cleats

• High quality Gemlux pull-up cleats are standard throughout the boat. They offer a flush installation and very smooth operation.

Self Bailing Cockpit

• This important safety feature allows any water on the deck to drain overboard and not into the bilge area. Any water that seeps into the bilge, can only be pumped out by the bilge pump, which is slow at draining large amounts of water. All Sportsman Boats have a collector box drainage system that ties in all drains from the deck and redirects the water directly overboard without mechanical assistance.

Grip Tex Yacht Style Non-Skid

• This texture is applied to the deck and step areas for a uniform random non-skid coat. This type of non-skid is not patterned and is easy to repair should it ever get chipped or damaged.

High Speed Livewell Pick Up

• As the name suggests, high speed pick ups ensure that your livewell is receiving a consistent water supply even at high speeds. The scoop shape design directs water into the intake and reduce air locks at high speeds.

Bow Cushion Set / Sundeck

• This option is a single removable large cushion to cover the front most part of the deck. It is typically optioned in conjunction with our Removable Bow Backrests with Cushion to completely fill the bow with cushions. For complete access to the center storage box and anchor locker, the cushion bi-folds horizontally, allowing for access without the need to remove it completely, a very convenient design feature.

Custom Color Engine

• If the original paint color of Yamaha is not for you, opt in for the custom painted engines. Offered in White and Black, they surely will match the color theme of your Sportsman Boat. The paint job includes new custom silver decals to replace the original ones.

• This option adds an additional mounting bracket for boats equipped with the second station as the regular mounting location for the dome is taken up by the second station.

Garmin GPSMAP® 1243xsv 12" (2nd Screen)

• Adding a second screen duplicates all of the functions from the first screen and adds display real estate. Instead of having to split a single screen, you are able to split functionality across two full size displays. Keep in mind that all of the information is shared with both screens, meaning you are able to set each one to display exactly what you need.

Garmin GXM™ 54 SiriusXM® Weather Antenna

• The GXM 54 SiriusXM® weather antenna lets you enjoy added confidence and peace of mind on the water by always having access to the most current weather conditions and forecasts. Gull Wings

• This gull wings option serves as an extension to the spray shield with additional triangular coverage for both sides of the console and it is designed to block off any spray from the side.

• Adds additional gunwale rod holders to your Sportsman.

Half Tower w/ Second Station (XS/AMS Only; req. Garmin Fusion Upgrade)

• For the ultimate addition, opt in for the half tower option. This adds a full helm with instrumentation at the tower level with leaning post, engine controls and an additional Garmin MFD display that shares all of the same data as the rest of the system. This option requires the Audio Upgrade option for the speakers on the second station.

Porta Potti

• This all-in-one system, has 2 separate compartments built in. The bottom most compartment contains freshwater for cleaning the bowl and the middle compartment holds any waste. It gets installed inside the head compartment with 2 brackets that secure it in place but comes apart easily for cleaning.

Removable Bow Backrest w/ Seat Cushions

• For additional seating on the bay boat deck, add these backrests and cushion bottoms. They are snapped in place and completely removable when it comes time to fish. The bow rod boxes are still accessible even when the cushions are snapped in.

Slide Out Track for YETI® Cooler

• If you already own a cooler and would like to just get the slide mechanism only, this option adds the track but does not come with a cooler.

Taco Outriggers - GS280

• With a rugged design, these outriggers will provide years of reliable service even in the most challenging saltwater applications. They feature a locking head and the latest in sleek and ergonomic shape. They are matched up to Taco's 15' poles and come with the basic rigging kit.

Under Leaning Post Tackle Storage

• This compact unit adds some additional tackle storage under the leaning post seat. The drawers are lockable and include 2 plastic tackle organizer trays.

• Yamaha’s new autopilot provides many convenient features for boat control and operation. Yamaha Helm Master EX (XSB Only, incl. Auto Pilot)

• Captains of offshore boats have already discovered the incredible ease and precision of Helm Master®. This fully integrated boat control system includes an enhanced binnacle control, a streamlined digital display, push-button start/stop switches and an innovative joystick.
